Floyd is playing a dangerous game with inactivity

If his next fight were against Pacman,I'd say a long stretch of inactivity will definately hurt!!But judging by Floyd's choice of opponents ever since 140,I think he's gonna be all right!!If he doesn't fight Manny,it'll be someone he's supposed to d**** up anyway!!Comment

No one can predict when old age will come.
Floyd is 33 year old. By the time he fights next, he'll probably be pushing 34. On top of that, if he signs a four fight contract, at this pace he'll be fighting at the very least till he's 37-38 years old.
Remember Superman? He was unbeatable, never legitimately lost. Until he hit 34. They say reflexes is the first thing to go for a fighter. Floyd relies heavily on his cat-like reflexes.

Floyd took off two years during his prime and probably another year now. That's 3 years of wasted time & talent. Instead of building his legacy & making money, it went down the toilet. One day he may look back and regret all the inactivity.
That true but Jones was not as technically gifted with his defense like Mayweather. Jones did things that you can't teach.Comment

I understand that and I'm not saying Floyd is Roy Jones. But I think my point about Floyd getting older is legit, since it's a fact! He is getting older. Who's to say his reflexes, speed, etc. don't start to deminish at 34, 35 years old? You can't be in your prime forever.
I'm not saying he will get old in a year or two, all I'm saying is it's dangerous game to be playing. He could be fighting the top guys (Pacquiao) NOW rather than later. It's a gamble imo and not the smartest one to make.Comment
