      not at all

and he didn't look sharp per se he looked like he was trying to win solely on volume rather than being effective. That left him open to counters which Kotelnik obliged.

Alexander is talented he is gifted but he has to be able to adapt to truely be a great champion. He didn't for Kotelnik and you could make a case that it should have cost him this fight

He was getting outboxed before the cut. I think that hindered his performance more.

Anyone actually catch where the cut was caused? HBO didnt even bother to find a replay. I dont see any obvious head clash. Just a lotta jabs, left hooks and right crosses hitting Alexanders face...

Of course it had some effect. It clearly bothered him as he was pawing at it late but the gamechanger in this fight was Devin's overall gameplan.

I saw a couple head clashes. Which is common with an orthodox and southpaw going at it. I think the cut opened around round 5 and my scorecard had it 3-2 devin at that point.

I don't really think so, he was already getting hit with some big shots before he got cut, I think the same thing would've happened with or without it.

when your plan A & B doesn't work, frustration sets in. that's what happened to alexander.

No he was'nt landing **** before the cut and was getting clipped alot before the cut. Thats too funny those are 2 things that can't be said about Kotelnik. How do you win a fight when you miss almost everything you throw and get hit with everything thrown at you. So to win a fight all you have to do is run circles and hit gloves and air? As long as you don't get KO'd you win?
People who understand boxing for what it really is know who won.

Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit. Kotelnik did that to a tee. Alexander did'nt land one significant punch through the whole fight. Kotelnik landed punch after punch and was never hit cleanly. You sir don't know **** about boxing.

and where was the replay of that. The first time in HBO history that they did'nt show the replay of the headbutt. Probably because it did'nt happen. Kotelnik was calm and relaxed so if it was a headbutt it would've been Devon's fault.
