Whaaat!? Pacquiao actually landed punches and bossed the ring. Alexander was just throwing for the sake of throwing and not landing anything at all.
Alexander-Kotelnik is comparable to Pacquiao-Clottey.

This was a ****** topic, and after this post right here, nothing else should be said...No it's not. It's not in any way comparable to Pac-Clottey. That is completely ridiculous and makes no sense.
Pac-Clottey saw Manny Pacquiao land 20% on an opponent that stood in a shell the whole fight scared of Pac's power, Pacquiao outlanded and dominated Clottey.
Alexander landed 18% against an opponent that was moving forward, landing more clean and hard shots, and outlanded Alexander.
They are not similar in the least.
Green K sent.

Same decision, pretty much the same situation and in both fights they gave the more active fighters the decision.
Pacquiao came out of the fight like he got ran over by a train and still won against the inactive Clottey who had the more effective shots and nobody cried robbery. People are going to argue Kotelnik was more active than Clottey against Pacquiao, but again he was the more inactive fighter. I had the fight 7-5 for Alexander.
On a side note, did anyone notice how strangely Alexander was acting in the post fight interview? Was he always like that? I don't remember him rolling his eyes or slurring his speech to that extent before, maybe he was just dead tired.
The difference is that Alexander got punched the **** out and Pacquiao dominated Clottey. Kind of a big differance there.Comment

That's what happens when you get your face punched in for 12 rds, lol.Same decision, pretty much the same situation and in both fights they gave the more active fighters the decision.

Different situation altogether, Kotelnik was pressuring Alexander the entire fight and was trying to fight. He threw cleaner, effective punches in every rd. Clottey shelled up and was AFRAID to throw, he threw a tenth of the shots that Kotelnik did.
People comparing this fight to the Clottey fight seem to be looking for a copout, Alexander looked average last night as I forecasted he would...no excuse is needed.Comment

Me and my brother said the same ****!
Not to mention, Right before the start of the seventh round, Alexander look at his trainer and said "My shoulders feels stiff" then rolled his neck a few times before walking out to the ring....Umm it's called being jabbed clean all night Alexander...It has that effect on the neck, upper back, and shoulders.
Also, in the 12th, he got caught with a left hook (trying to pull away), followed by a right hand, and his leg buckled...After the fight he said his leg knotted up.
I still don't see how he won that fight...Oh well.Comment
