The problem with boxing is that these young guys are trying to do what the 30 year old champions do - pursue the big names instead of cleaning up a division.

Khan needs to fight the best guys at 140 right now.

When Mayweather was 23, he was fighting the beasts one after the other. That is what Khan should do at this age.

Maybe because he is a ***** and wants to pick on a smaller fighter. **** this guy. He hasn't proven ****. I hope Marquez fights Katsidis.

From reading the posts on this thread it is clear Khan is not convincing anyone. You can fool some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time but not all of the people all the time. Khan is no longer fooling anyone. He has overdone the bull**** and now has no credibility. The only way he is going to get it is by taking the meaningful fights. Sooner or later even his gullible die hard fans will get fed up with his antics. If Marquez opts for Katsidis it will be interesting to see how Khan will wrangle another meaningless canned fight.

At the end of the day, Marquez >>>>>>> Maidana.
Marquez is head and shoulders way above, a step up from Maidana.
I think Marquez would be a much tougher fight for Khan.

Either fight is dangerous for Khan imo... Good post.

Marquez at his best K.O.'s the **** outta Khan, but I'm pretty sure he's slipped and won't be able to handle Khan's athleticism now. Maidana is a pretty standard procedure U.D. for Khan imo, but it still needs to happen for a number of reasons, the most important of them being that we haven't seen Khan in with a puncher since he was K.O.'d in like .84 seconds that time and that he's actually in Khan's stratosphere size wise.

Maidana and Khan are the new milk cows of GBP why pit they off at each other and lose one/both cows in a single event. Alvarez is another cow that they recently acquired have but IMO he won't last long the kid, cause to me he is overrated.
