I just can't agree with this at all. De la Hoya was a very good fighter in his prime but there are still many fighters he would lose to. IMO Hearns would KO prime De la Hoya. I still just don't see De la Hoya beating PBF based on PBF being a better boxer, smarter and more athletic. That would always give De la Hoya problems.

That fight wasn't even close. The most rounds you GIVE De la Hoya was 4. De la Hoya will always have problems with someone who is a better boxer than he is and PBF is exactly that.

I dont see why people even think Pacquiao could beat a prime DLH at 147? It amazes me really. DLH came from a era where there were tough tough fighters. He had everything going for him skillwise in his prime. a prime DLH beats Floyd, Pacquiao, and the current crop of WWs today no problem. This is BS. Mayweather was in cruise control the whole time against Oscar, he didn't have to step his game up yet still won comfortably.

Floyd took Mosley's best shot, got rocked, then came back to dominate the remainder of the fight.

In no way shape or form was Mayweather "lucky" in those fights, he's just that good.
