Before the money, women and all that a young Oscar beats most "greats." Simply, Oscar had it all...head snapping JAB, combos, speed, CHIN....had it all! You may laugh at me, but I think a young 23 year old DLH beats anyone from 135 to 147! He got robbed a few times and when he did lose...he didnt train.....Edwin Valero said he didnt even work hard for the Pac fight. He had it all, so he lost his passion for the sport, plus his father pushed him since the age of 5... understandable. Again, I'm not even a fan, but he was just good......thoughts?

That's bull**** though cuz it's like saying "oh man if only the Zab Judah wasn't a crackhead or if only James Toney wasn't a fat pig..."

I mean all those things are part of boxing. The fact that Oscar was more concerned with women and being on magazine covers and making money-- you can't say "well he woulda done this" or "he woulda done that" cuz we'll never know for sure-- and that's nobody's fault but his.

That's the difference between a good fighter like Oscar De La Hoya and an ATG like JCC Jr.

I know for fact that when Hoya was in prime that he would KO Floyd in 2 rounds or less.

Past prime Hoya lost by controversial decision and even Floyd Sr. had Hoya winning that fight so you know what time is it!
