If Floyd is smart doing anything its business wise. Getting out of a deal for under one million then making millions with Oscar and Hatton was a stroke of genius. Arum HATES Floyd for THAT reason. He didnt want to get rid of him.

Which is why when he had the chance he tried to lock Floyd in a 3 fight deal to fight Marg, Hatton and Cotto.

remember pac signed with gbp and then arum counter offered and pac reneged on his deal with golden boy and tried to return gbp's money.

you'd think arum's counter was better than gbp.

so if arum got him back for 27% wth was golden boy offering 30%?

i doubt pacquiao would sign for something higher than top rank's standard percentage.

unless maybe he worked out a deal for higher guarantees.

Floyd isn't smart business wise. He is just smart enough to surround himself with the right people who understand the business side of boxing. I say this because if he is as good as you or Floyd says he is, then it would show up in other business ventures Floyd has went into.

no point really. it'll probably cost him more money buying himself out and fighting under someone else for cheaper than to just stay with arum who is doing a good job making him good money.
