that's chavez jr. ppv numbers. Arum could do those numbers without HBO. GBP Needs to work a little harder.

How is this possible? After all, the experts on this message board declared Marquez the star when he fought Mayweather and said it was Marquez who was responsible for generating 1 million PPV buys, not Mayweather. How is it possible that Marquez can go from 1 million PPV with a "boring runner" like Mayweather and only generate 200,000 against an all-action fighter in Diaz?

Wait. Is it possible that Mayweather was the star and the reason why the PPV sold so well? If so, that would mean that all the experts/haters on this site were wrong and we all know that *******s are never wrong!!!

no! clearly Manny is the bigger PPV attraction and deserves nothing less than 50-50! **** he should have asked for 60-40 against Floyd ***weather but was being too kind!

                I was expecting maybe 250k...

                Not terrible, though.

No 24/7 and a fight that should've even have happened...pretty good.

We all know a Mosley - Mora or Marquez/Diaz PPV means little to nothing..but put them in a fight vs May/Cotto/Pac any other big name and that creates a buzz..

dont try to make it seem like whenever marquez fights he just has 100-200 buys..its about matchups..
