The real question is how much is HBO offering for the Williams/Martinez fight. If they are offerening 3 million for the whole thing then screw that. They shouldn't have to take short money to take more years off their careers. Those are big boys and fighting those type of fights can quickly take their tolls on fighters.

If Martinez/Williams fight happens next the winner will more than likely be easy pickings for Dzinziruk. Pirog will actually be a tougher challenge Martinez after another war with Williams.

Still want to see Martinez/Willams but they should be fairly compensated when its a barn burner that will be another candidate of the year.

What? 3M is a lot of money for a fight on network TV for two guys who never sold millions of PPVs. HBO is being generous with Williams after they paid for his last bull**** fight, lol.

Would love to watch the "Razor" school Williams on the finer points of boxing and embarrass him in the ring. However, I doubt HBO would be interested in putting up even $2 Million for two relatively unknown fighters but who knows.

Martinez : Williams is the biggest threat for him , and this time he has the lineal
MW title to lose.
Williams : Martinez is the one who gave him the most trouble this far , except
of his decision loss to Quintana which was well avenged , but Quintana never
managed to put him down either , Martinez did. He does have the MW lineal
title to gain though .

I just don't know who is it going to be , but I expect Martinez to duck Williams more so , because of the above.

I would much rather they fight each other again than either fighting against Dzinziruk.

Martinez wants the fight and is already training for it. Williams wants to move to welterweight or get more than 50% of the purse to fight Martinez. So how do you "expect" Martinez to duck Williams?
