anybody can call out fighters,look at david haye,i just think he didn't fight the best available at that time,at lightweight he could have fought freitas who at that time was fast and with power,he could have fought casamayor who was also fast and skilled,but he faced ndou and brussells...he could have fought mosley while mosley was faster and stronger back then,he avoided margarito although he probably could have won,but i think maragarito would have given him a good fight,castillo did and beat him,i think margarito would have given him a hard time,he fought gatti ,gatti had no skills,he could have fought someone else

Not enough money to be made fighting Marquez. He did beat Diaz, but that's a guy who lost both fights with Paulie "I can't KO a tomato can" Malignaggi (he should have lost both fights, anyway). Plus, Marquez has yet to prove he can fight well above 135lbs. The only time he ventured further, he got truly embarrassed. I agree with Arum, beat a Amir Khan, Bradley, Alexander or Berto and then we can talk. Unfortunately, all those fighters are too young for JMM to contend with. Just remember, it's Floyd who backed out of the most recent fight. If it doesn't happen in May, it will never happen...

This post is like amateur night. Get off Manny's very small, roided up nuts and you will see that there is no bigger money making fight for Pac/Marquez 3 than Pbf/Pac. You agree with Arum because your a nutrider and you would love to see Manny continue to fight loser after loser. 6 in a row and counting. 6 damaged fighters coming off major losses is that your idea of a great fighter?

Doesn't make sense for Marquez to say Manny is faster than Floyd because he was able to time Manny but unable to get anywhere near Floyd. He could see Manny's punches coming but couldn't see Floyd's. Defense has nothing to do with seeing a fighters offense and timing it. Manny may be as explosive but Floyd maintains his speed throughout while Manny tends to get sloppy and slower as the fight goes on.

You have to consider the advantages of Mayweather:

He was naturally bigger

Longer arms

Pac fought JMM at 130

May cheated and who knows what he fought JMM at, 146 plus his weight gain was PRIME

Floyd will not get into fights that he has to extend himself like Pac will do. Pac came up from 130 to fight Welter weights , I don't see floyd going up to middleweights or light middle outside of Old ODH, the one that Manny destroyed and the same one that May barely sc****d by. If Pac gets slower its because he is in a war, you won't see May doing that because he engineers fights to his favor.

IF you let the fans match Mayweather without his say so he would get his ass stomped. He would have already fought Cotto before Margo got him, then again he would already have fought Margo and would have been walked down and nearly killed or he would have quit on his stool or jumped the ring and left town to his hole, he would already have fought a younger Mosley and that second round would have been his last.

Excuses, excuses. Marquez got tired of getting popped all night. Those punches were cat quick coming from Floyd. As a former fighter myself I can tell you right now Manny gets predictable in there but Floyd never does. Manny get's very sloppy as the fight progresses even though he's still quick he's not accurate quick and the accurate quick, properly timed punches will get there first every time. Manny tends to leap in with his shots, he leaps quick but Marquez was able to time those leaps and Manny's movement as the fight progressed but he never was able to time Floyd so I say again Floyd is not 41-0 for no reason. Dude is fast, accurate and a very gifted punch selector. If he ever get's in there with Manny you will see the difference immediately. Floyd will chew his ass up and spit him out quite easily. If Arum and Team Pac are reluctant to face m\Marquez do you idiots really think he wants to get in there with Floyd.

Anybody can read and research before making ignorant comments too. If you got off yourself for a minute you would read the facts. Floyd fought

• Corrales @ 130
• Castillo @135
• Gatti and Corley @ 140
• Zab, Baldo, Hatton and Shane @ 147
• Oscar @154

Those were the top fighters at their divisions at that time. All were champions that won their titles in the ring. Floyd tried fighting Shane@35, Cotto and Hatton@40 and Shane again@47 then Cheato, Cotto and Pacroid@47 but the politics or their camps on record saying their fighters weren't ready at the time stopped those fights from happening. Manny completely bypassed the guy that beat Morales for a 3rd Morales fight, over stepped the whole light-wt and jr-welter-wt divisions then went on a damaged goods tour that he's still on. Get your weight up son.
