    are people overating Dmitry Pirog?

i think that pirog is good but some are saying it is now a fact that he beats both willams and Martinez. my thing is, pirog fought jacobs. a young boy lol jacobs is unproven. actually, if you go back and watch the jacobs/ishe smith fight, you will see that smith gave jacobs ALL HE could handle and more. pirog is almost at the end of his career & his only fight of worth is a young unproven jacobs. the sad thing is when pirog doesn't have such a good night the same nut huggers will say. "i told you so, i told you you all was overrating this guy" "yea man, i always knew pirog was a bum"

i didn't say he was a bum, i said that he's being highly overrated. to be honest after looking at the jacobs/smith fight, i knew jacobs was no where near close to being the next big thing. just a young prospect with great management.

yes, a little bit but that happens EVERY TIME a big knockout happens like that, especially by someone most people never knew of and was their first time seeing the guy.

But I think everyone should be excited about him though, from what I've seen he's awesome to watch and has lots of potential.

I'm going to leave it at that. Awesome win against Jacobs, let's watch and see what he can do from here!

He's not a bum but he's being overrated by KOing a green Jacobs. A lot of people picked him to win against Jacobs anyway.

I think there is way too much hype. I won't say he is overrated, but people here are exaggerating with his accomplishment.

He was impressive, I'll give it to him. That is clearly KO of the year.
However, I'd give him two more fights to see what this cat can do.

Personally, I believe Jacobs mental state had a lot to do with it.

what i meant by the bum comment was that most of these fans that are nuthugging him now will call him a bum when he has a bad night.

I think it's all good and innocent. He's an exciting breakout fighter who KO'ed a fellow up-and-comer with his funky style, so obviously people will want to think positive and do fantasy match-ups where he kicks everyone's ass.

I don't think any of it should be taken too seriously.
