Show me all the posts where I talked about Floyd. I made ONE post and i was JOKING with Burner. Apart from that, I never mentioned Floyd. And me saying that Manny isn't as small as he is made out to be has NOTHING to do with Floyd. Be real dude.Last edited by V.WEBB; 08-02-2010, 11:36 AM.Comment

he was the bigger guy compared to most fighters at around 126and you wonder where the steroid accusations come from. but when someone accuses him of that pacfans say he always weighed in the 140s on fight night when he was in lower divisions..so is he a really small guy knocking out really big guys or someone who is now in his right weight class where he can make weight comfortable?
he was ripped and taller than most. but at the same time he had to drain himself was green and a one handed fighter, so for what he did back then was still tremendous.Comment

but in that case valero has more power than pac at 135, would JMM be able to get up from knock downs?
or would he be splattered and ko'dComment

Are you sure Valero has more power than Pacquiao at 135? I think it's even or in Pacquiao's favor.
I'm pretty sure Marquez would handle the early rush, and mess Valero up.Comment

Doesn't he have to eat 7000 calories just to stay at 147? Now all of a sudden he has to skip meals to make 140? Man.........................I ain't even gonna get into this ****.Comment

Dude, you're not getting it. I'll try and say this one more time.
Pacquiao isn't eating 7,000 to gain weight, he's eating to maintain his weight. He walks around at about 150 to begin with.
Any athlete who trains 4 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week, is burning a ton of calories. If he didn't eat 7,000 calories a day, he would start to lose weight.
He's not the only athlete like this. You hear about football players who put down 2 porterhouses after a game, or how Kobe eats McDonalds after workouts. These guys don't have to watch their calories because of how much they train.
Which is why Roach said "if he wanted to make 140, he'd have to start skipping meals". He could make 140, and even 135. He'd just have to maintain his current workout regimen and start cutting down to maybe 4,000 calories a day.Comment
