the fact is the fight was offered. marquez turned it down.

call it what you want. bad negotiations. overpricing yourself. whatever.

    those are the facts.
so there could be truth that team JMM is at fault?

how bout this one? this link: http://www.the sweet science. com/boxing-article/3317/borneo-showcase-chris-john-juan-manuel-marquez/

it says: For whatever reason, Marquez and Nacho Biristain had earlier rejected a $750,000 payday to fight Manny Pacquiao and $1.5 million to fight Erik Morales. Marquez now finds himself fighting for the whopping sum of (Austin Powers moment, pinky finger to the mouth) ----- $31,250. Marquez is fighting for chickenfeed.

do you know if this is true?

imagine if jmm had been the one that took hamed's 0.

imagine if he had defeated pacquiao in the immediate rematch.

imagine if he was the one that had a trilogy with erik morales instead of pacquiao.

he'd be so ****** rich. he'd also be above morales/barrera/pacquiao in atg rankings.

      Whole lotta ifs.

JMM changed his style to fight Pac after having watched Manny fight
Morales and others, much later than the period you're speculating on.
With his less aggro style, he wouldn't have beat Pac, and no fucking
way he would have taken Hamed's zero.

Erik and MAB avoided JMM because he was a bad style matchup --I
believe they would have won, but it wouldn't have been pretty at all.

I think JMM's a very good fighter whose most indelible quality is sadly
      his rep for drinking piss.

        Yep.

Hamed would've got lit up and Steward knew it.

jmm fought pacquiao before morales did.

morales looked at what jmm did.

i think jmm had a good chance to beat hamed. 50/50

either he wins by decision or hamed wins by ko.

i think morales and barrera beat jmm too.

morales, barerra, & hamed ducked prime marquez.

it was a green, one handed, mid 20s pacquiao who gave marquez a shot.

dont ever forget that or i might have to bust a can of whoop ass thread on you & the piss drinker again jackie.

Pac didn't have nowhere to go. He already vanquished 2 of the 3 musketeers.

He had to go through JMM to prove he was the goods.

It was a 2 way street Swindler.

Plz don't open up on me right now though, I'm in no mood to go to e-war.

No, I believe Hamed wouldn't have lost.

Check my previous post on JMM's style evolving, and WHEN
a fight with Hamed could have taken place.

As for OP --Team JMM effectively ducked Hamed, Morales and Pac.
The facts are there, and Nacho's spinning it to look like they were
'maneuvered' into looking like they ducked.

To what fucking end, such alleged maneuvering?
What profit to Team Naseem? to El Terrible, or Pacquiao, if the
fights with JMM didn't push through? Nacho's a moron.
