Haye and Povetkin should just retire

If they don't want to be the best at what they do or even seem to want to try then why should I or anyone even care about anything else they are doing in the sport?

Both should just go away and retire seeing as they are already semi retired as is.

I know boxing is a business but its also a sport and if neither wants to be champion then why be a pro athlete for anything other than $$$?

I don't know about you but I am not interested in seeing fighters just cash pay checks against softies. Haye should go be an actor or whatever he wants to really do and Povetkin though a less glamorous profession should just go back to Russia and farm turnips or whatever.

We need HW contenders who want to try and actually believe they can take the title from Wlad, so props to Sam Peter.

Couldn't agree more. If you get the chance to become THE CHAMP of your sport and you decline and rather wait then you know it's time to pack your things and look for a different calling in life. Boxing is not the higher calling for Haye nor for Povetkin.

Could you imagine a guys like Glen Johnson, Emmanuel Augustus, Pacman, or Gatti pulling some BS like these two are?

Its shameful, I mean take the shot at least they would have tried.

You should add both Klitschko's because they refuse to fight each other.

The thing about Povetkin is, a few years ago he was rushing to get his Mandatory title shot against Wlad, but Wlad was getting ready to have a unification against Ibragimov for the WBO.

Povetkin and his team were pushing to get the IBF to strip Wlad of his title sot hey can fight for the vacant one.

What this tells me is that Povetkin is trying to wait it out, hoping that someone beats Wlad, so he can fight that person. It's pathetic. As with Haye, I don't know what his agenda is.

I think he is just satisfied to have one A HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE as supposed to winning THE Heavyweight Title. So he is gonna cash in on his chips and walk away being satisfied to have won the title in the same manner Roy Jones did years ago.

In the record book he will be recognized as a two-division champ.

What soft competition? He beat two undefeated fighters in a row.

That's two guys he is preventing from becoming anything in the sport or the division.

I think I give him a pass on his last opponent.

Sosnowski and Briggs? Neither should be anywhere near a world title.

This whole thing doesn't need to be explained in some long tedious manner, I am talking about Haye and Povetkin being a waste of a ranking positions.

Go make your own Wlad and Vitali hate thread if that is what you want to do.

Neither wants to prove they are the best so they are just like Haye and Povetkin and should just retire.
