Pirog's victory was a product of studying the Jacobs/Walker fight. If you really follow boxing then you know what he did wasn't all that extraordinary. Pirog is a solid fighter, I like his style and would love to see more of him, but P-Will is all wrong for him.

Not sure who takes it, but with Williams' defensive lapses you'd have to expect Pirog's big right hand to land at some point.
One thing I did notice is that Pirog did get caught a few times himself last night. Maybe that's no big deal, but it does make me think that a fight between him and Williams would more likely be a back-and-forth type where they both take some punishment rather than a one-sided scholling/beatdown in either guy's favour.
Williams and Martinez are both looking for opponents. If they're not going to face each other then one of them should fight Pirog.

too early to tell...but Pirog looked sharp....the only thing is that Jacobs was a prosspect and P.Will is a 3 time world champ.....cant get too hyped over the Jacobs win....but still I give props to Pirog, he looked dam good against Jacobs....I'm impressed but not that impressed to say he beats a Paul Williams

Pirog won't take a backwards step against Williams, and when Williams can't bully you, he is in trouble. I predict that Pirog would KO him before 8.
