Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Pirog's biggest win by far the win over Jacobs. I fail to see how anyone can be sure Pirog is that good by that. I say give him more time and better competion before assuming he can beat fighters on a completely different level.

Paul Williams is very overrated, And I dont think he is one of the best Middleweights in the world. Americans will disagree with me but Williams has only beaten Martinez and Wright who was coming off the huge layoff. And he could easily have lost to Martinez. He's not the best Middleweight, But his promoter will do a good job and keep him fighting in the U.S.

I don't see him being able to beat Dmitry Pirog or Felix Sturm. Both of those guys have the boxing ability to give him fits and the power to knock him out. Sturm has only 14 knockouts but he does have good power, He's also been a Middleweight his whole career which is a big advantage against guys that are naturally smaller coming up like Williams and Martinez.

        Easy win for Pirog.
As soon as a white guy wins, you jump on the bandwagon.

I agree he's not all that great but its a little to early to say Pirog will definitely beat him, IMO.

So if he beat 3 more good fighters with what he has now in terms of skill it makes him a better fighter than he was Saturday?

If you watch boxing often you should be able to spot talent, Pirog even if it went to the cards last night and he lost a close controversial decision is a talent, its evident in his method.

Yeah, Pirog is talented and has a big future but he needs some title defences to establish himself and show how good he really is.

Williams is good, It's just his fans annoy me. They say stuff like "He beats anyone fromc 154 to 160" and say "He should take Felix Sturm's belt".

I think Williams has been carefully managed by his promoter and he's made out to be better than he really is. He barely sc****d by Martinez who is a good but he's a natural JMW. Felix Sturm in my opinion, Is a much better fighter than Martinez. He has a great jab, timing, defence, right hand and is extremely hard to hit. I don't think Williams would take a round from him, His wreckless style would make it easy for Sturm.

I agree. Paul Williams has looked very poor every time I have seen him. I don't know why he is hyped so much? Average speed, average power, and basic boxing skills. The only thing that wins him fights is the unrelenting pace at which he fights. Other than that he is not as good as people make him out to be.

Pirog won't take a backwards step against Williams, and when Williams can't bully you, he is in trouble. I predict that Pirog would KO him before 8.
