Dawson is a proven young veteran and Jacobs is basically a young prospect and still has a lot to learn, they shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence

I think basically some people are HOPING that what happened to Jacobs happens to Dawson

if Dawson was another Jacobs then he wouldn't have gotten passed Adamek, the same Adamek who is now a heavyweight champion and also beat current Cruiserweight Champion Steve "USS" Cunningham

So by your logic, noboby can compare two boxers who are not at the same ranking # or all the boxers who have a belt are all equally good ? If Dawson lose by KO to Pascal you will still say that he's a proven WC and future ATG, if so, you said it first, let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is.

Harden, Adamek, Tarver, Johnson were Dawson's test. Dawson overcame adversity against Adamek and Johnson. Adamek knocked him down and he got back up to shut out Adamek. Johnson gave him all he can handle in their first fight. Tarver was a top LHW and just came off dominating Woods 12-0.

If any one was going to "Jacobs" Dawson it would have been one of those guys. Pascal is Dawson's second toughest challenge after Adamek though.

I said he was a proven champion who has beaten top 5 LHW's on more than one occassion including Adamek who is now a HW champion. Fool. Secondly YES Jacobs was a prospect who as moving his way up. He was fighting for a VACANT title dude, not taking on the longstanding champion. He took a step up that he wasn't ready for period. If Dawson had done the same he would have lost to Adamek who he DOMINATED and is better than Pirog.
