      or

this is mayweather at PR managing a way to deflect some of the pressure and critisim him and his camp have taken in not being seen to have signed a contract and then a potential **** storm with the lies surrounding the supposed contract and negotations....

mayweather plays his cards close and well....will be interesting to see what comes of this, if anything
in the end he's just putting his name out there so he's not forgotten while he enjoys the money he took from his fans. slap in the face again to his loyal *****s, but they just never leave him like housewives with no brains. hopefully he'll come back from vacation in 2011 and do the same thing so we can see him ***** slap his fans again while they roar in pleasure.

yea, its pacquiao that really didnt want to fight.

haymon & gbp wanted floyd to take the fight but floyd bitched out.

        plain & simple.
right... he doesn't know what he wants to do. marquez last night said what he wants to do and that's to fight pac. mayweather can't do the same thing he did a long time ago because it's time to put up or shut up his ***** lips. and ***** riders are still ignorant as to why he's being called a coward/duck/chimp/chicken/richiebitch

Everyone in boxing has been trying to get rid of him for years, yet he's still here. I have a buddy who sold Art to him and he said Don King is a one of a kind person, and that he is always looking to rip someone off.
I can't speak for him personally but, as a fan, I know boxing hasn't been the same since he's been frozen out of the game. The man knew how to promote, how to make events, and how to make a card. Remember Hopkins-Joppy, Mayorga-Spinks and more all on one card? That's the last time I saw a whole PPV worth watching. King is always out to make a quick buck and unlike Harvard grad Arum, his methods of cheating fighters are far more crude. Don't get it twisted, they both do the same thing. However, if you have the right team behind you - looking out for your interests - a partnership with King can be fruitful. Look at Felix Trinidad. Or Larry Holmes who, when asked if Don King ever cheated him out of cash responded, "Yeah, but I miss him cheating me out of cash." I doubt Floyd goes that way but the demonization of King is laughable given the characters running the sport today.

Other way around. That's the source of the problem, trying to force him to do something he never wanted any part of.

I think Floyd finds the best hiding place in Don King Kong to avoid fighting Pacman. Now all the termites around chicken floyd look like ****** specially dela hoya the great liar. And for gayweather you are the biggest fraud in boxing... keep avoiding the boxer that might beat you your 0 is so precious.

Why Floyd wants DKP....ANSWER: DON KING KNOWS HOW TO RIG FIGHTS!!!

Anyone remember Holyfield-Lewis I?? De La Hoya-Trinidad?? The list goes on...

Don King is known for treating judges to vacations or VIP treatment to the events!!! If he's not straight-up bribing them, he sure knows how to pick which ones will score in favor for HIS fighter's style!!

That is the only valid reason I could think of why Floyd would want Don King to promote him.
