According to promoter Don King, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not pleased with his current representation. King doesn't name any person in particular, but Mayweather would have to be unhappy with either Golden Boy Promotions, or manager/adviser Al Haymon. Mayweather has been hanging out with King for the last few days in Florida and the two men have been discussing the possibility of working together. [Click Here To Read More]

Now there's two people that deserve each other , the murderer and thief (King) and the spoiled child who thinks the world spins around him . Floyd I don't like the way you conduct your business but I respect your boxing abilities . Ask ANYONE this crook EVER
represented and they will tell you to stay away . Golden Boy is one of the best , but they are going to expect you to fight and quit playing childish games .Don't let your EGO miss up what's left of your career .Comment

I'm all for this if King and Arum can put the fight together. If, however, Floyd is doing this because he truly doesn't want to fight Pacquaio (which is what I think), then going to King makes sense. HBO will cut him loose rather than mismatch him again with the likes of Baldomir or some other easy touch of Floyd's choosing. Kind could easily put together fights with say Corey Spinks, Mayorga, or a well-hyped mismatch with Devon Alexander.Comment

Don King may be the greatest hustler in the history of hustling, don't doubt him.
Everyone in boxing has been trying to get rid of him for years, yet he's still here. I have a buddy who sold Art to him and he said Don King is a one of a kind person, and that he is always looking to rip someone off.Comment

He only wants to fight once a year, who gives a **** if he signs with DK, it's not like he's going to keep him on the shelf against his will like he's done to Devon Alexander, Nate Campbell, Guillermo Jones, Steve Cunningham, Bernard Hopkins, Ricardo Mayorga, Roman Karmazin, Cory Spinks, Elio Rojas, etc.
Or as if he's going to steal money like he's done to Mike Tyson, Devon Alexander, Nate Campbell, Guillermo Jones, Steve Cunningham, Bernard Hopkins, Ricardo Mayorga, Roman Karmazin, Cory Spinks, Elio Rojas, etc.
Floyd's already making in excess of $30 million dollars for every fight. Whatever issue he has with GBP and Haymon isn't about money.
