If dre keeps improving,I can see him giving bad Chad a good run. I can see them fighting in a telephone booth, both have great generalship and would be tough to pick.Comment

If it does not relect in Boxrec then it didn't happen Iceta. Now ofcourse you can say you felt he was robbed(Johnson), but to say he beat Chad is false as that is not the decision that was handed down. I think Sweet Pea beat JCC Sr. But thats not what reflects in the records. I think Ike Quartey handed ODH his 1st L, but again that's not what is reflected in the records, I think Felix Strum blew ODH out of the water, but It's still a W in ODH's win column. See where I'm goin with this? As much as I like to give fighters credit for their work inbetween the ropes, I still have to look at things in black and white otherwise the wins and loses mean nothing as everyone has their own opinion.Comment

Mathed, when Chad stepped in the LHW division, it was ran by these so called "over the hill" guys. You mention Shumenov; good fighter he just had a nice outing not too long ago, but Shumenov is still fighting on FNF, he's not of the calibre to get in the ring with Chad yet. Cloud only has strength, youth, and speed working for him. His Boxing IQ and ring experiance comes up short compared to Chad.I'm not saying that I don't think Dawson is any good. I just think it is ****** to even mention Calzaghe at all at this point. I give him credit for fighting Pascal and mentioning Cloud though. He should go after Shumenov or Murat or Cloud. If he winds up seeking another over the hill guy, I'm through with him. I realize that his division is ind of weak but he fights like once a year and for the past 2 years, has not faced a fresh guy. It seems like forever since the Adamek fight.Comment

Everybody is mentioning Bute, and with good reason. He is aurguably the best at 168, but the 1st Andrade fight showed alot of flaws in Bute. And it seems that most are forgetting that Edison Miranda(before he got careless directly infront of Bute) was uncharacteristicly outboxing Bute to some degree. We're talking about Edison Miranda folks!!!!!!!! I mean Edison is not the most technically sound fighter to grace our presence from 160-168, and the only reason he didn't go the distance with Bute is because he stood infront of Bute with his hands all the way down by his knees and dared Bute to hit him, and got his clock cleaned for it. By far the most ******ed thing I've ever seen take place in a Championship fight, and I've been avidly watching Boxing since '81 or so. Bute is one hell of a fighter, but lets save all the "thataboys" for him till he face's grade "A" comp not "B" level comp(which is what he's been up against), unfortunately most of the "A" comp is currently engaged in a Super Six Tourny, so it'll be awhile before we see Bute up against "A" calibre type fighters.Comment
