Even though I agree that Pirog would of finished the job had he got up. I just want you guys to remember Timothy Bradleys kd vs Kendall Holt. Bradley looked like he got shot, unconcious in the air just like Jacobs but he regained his composure and weathered the storm.

lol at you guys you'd rather see a man die in the ring then have a fight stopped early and imo it was a great stoppage he was out cold had he of made it up it's likely he would got jumped on and the ref would've stopped it anyway
jacobs is a young fighter this isn't his attempt at a world title he'll bounce back
better to fight another day he was clearly outclassed from the gateComment

I myself was surprised he was turn aback by Byrd when Jacobs was trying to get up, I felt he was deprived a chance to prolly just check if he can get up. Jacobs was obviously pissed at his corner when he regained composure.
But IMO it'll be worse if he indeed got up. He was pretty KTFO'ed.Comment

I didn't see anything wrong with the stoppage, it was for his own health & safety. He got ko'd - end of fight.Comment

I think Pirog would have hurt him again and possibly hurt him worse but in a title fight with your 0 on the line I think u gotta give the guy a chance to get on his feet...Danny's eyes were open and he was holding his glove up and Byrd called it off at 5...
I think everyone deserves a full count unless they've been down before or look absolutely gone...(even RJJ got a full count when Glen dropped him and his head bounced off the canvas)Comment
