Why the EFF didn't the ref let Jacobs get up last night???

I made a thread about it last night to, Jack. I was pissed, Jacobs had recovered and for the ref just to stop it like that was completely wrong. Yeah he was out for a few seconds but he had quickly gained his composure and collected himself by the count of 5. Bryd went off his hunch that when a fighter gets hit like that, he simply can't continue which is an awful thing to do. Bryd intervened and his hunch ruined what could of been a great fight and who knows what could of happened but we will never know because this idiot thought when you go out for a second you are instantly done. Bryd should lose his job.

A bigger mistake than that was not calling the knockdown in the 2nd round. Jacobs was holding on to Pirog's legs to keep from hitting the canvas FFS.

I'd have to see it again but it looked like Jacobs just had his arms by the sides of his legs, not holding on to them. Kind of keeping his balance like on a surf board style.

That **** was infuriating to me. That fight was getting good and then this son of a ***** big Byrd pushes Danny back down when he was trying to get up.

I guess taking the count on your back is illegal now.

Bull**** stoppage imo. Danny looked ok to continue to me. Way to end a potentially great fight *******.

Even though im against Ref stopping the fight early but did you really see how Jacobs fell to the canvas???**** everyone thought that he got knock the **** out!!!!so we can understand how the refs perception of how it all went down can be different from what we saw.But jacobs fell awful to the floor.so good stop ref ,jacobs was going to get murder anyways!!!!

Taking the count on your back is called being knocked the hell out. Jacobs was asleep for 5 seconds counting sheep...the ref made the right decision.

Pirog would of put a whooping on Jacobs if that fight would of gone on.

Jacobs was badly hurt but Byrd could easily have let him at least try to get to his feet for the entire count and after that if his legs were gone or Pirog just hammered him, ok but I have no issue with the stoppage really he was done.
