I think Smith's alright. I've warmed up to him, because it's clear to see that him and Kats work well together and they have history (a bit like Hatton and Graham, but without the age/health thing). No point changing trainers now, 9 years into a career, when Kats is permanently locked into his style.

If they get results in the ring, great. If not, they both have wonderful families waiting for them at home.

Well Marquez's options look to be Pacquiao, Katsidis or Khan.

Pacquiao
I cant see this fight happening at all. I think Schaefer saying there is a possibilty if Marquez beats Khan, is just him saying that to get Khan the fight he wants against JMM.
After his first 2 fights against Pacquiao (close / controversial) i think Marquez deserves another shot at Pacman. But the smallest these guys could fight at is 140 in my opinion for it to be fair. As any bigger (even 140 really favours Pacquiao massively i feel) and i see Pacman stopping JMM.

Katsidis
I think this is a great fight, maybe the best/ most competitive of all 3 options. On paper it the fight id like to see, i think JMM would get the win but i think its a fight Katsidis has earned and should be the fight that is made in all fairness.
But i can see that from Marquez's point of view that Khan / Pacquiao would earn him a bigger payday.

Khan
I think this is the most likely fight to happen. It would generate alot of interest, give JMM a big payday and give him the chance to become the first mexican 4 weight world champion.
I feel JMM would trouble Khan, Khan will never have dealed with someone as smart as JMM and he could make Khan look real green. Ultimately though i think Khans speed and power would get him the win. Khan is big at 140 and i that would be a big advantage if these 2 met.


Im a massive fan of 4 fighters mentioned in this post, so would look forward to either fight. Personally i wanted a 3rd Pacquiao - Marquez fight. It was deserved and should of happend, but now i feel to much time has past and id advise JMM against that fight.
Id love to see JMM - Katsidis as i think it could be a great fight, and will settle who the top 135 pounder is at present.
As for Khan - JMM. Im not sure if thats such a great fight for JMM overall, but from a selfish point of view, and love to see it get the go ahead as it would more than likley be in England and i would love to get the chance to see Marquez fight live before he retires.
