I think CEO Richard Schaefer is just conning Marquez, he just wants Marquez to fight a mere Khon, he thinks by offering a possible fight with pacman, he will sign for the fight with Khon. its not going to happen, pacman has said he wants to retire soon. I hope Marquez fights Kadsitis, so Khon has to face a lightwelter,

Khan does not have the punching power to trouble any of the current lightwelter champs; Khan doesn't want Bradley he is already talking his way out of it. With or without Freddie roach this man is a regular fighter. Nothing special. He can't beat Bradley or Alexander and doesn’t have the stones for maidana. Khan is fast and throws allot powder puff punchers, but no power be hide them, he has a glass chin, or he did have unless Freddy Roach waved a magic wand and toughed it up.

at 140 he tends to overwhelm opponent with punch volume rather than power.

Katsidis would be way more hittable than Diaz was last night - even with his style refined to incorporate more defence in recent fights, it's just in Mike's nature to fight a way that will give Marquez opportunities to do damage...and even a depleted Diaz has significantly better boxing basics than Katsidis, plus we know Marquez can hit.

But Marquez is getting older and Katsidis can set a pace which would trouble him. I see it being an explosive one, where anything could conceivably happen.


Certainly one to get excited about. Look at their respective recent bodies of work and how can these two names together not be exciting?

I personally think Marquez would manhandle Katsidis, but regardless he has earned the right to fight for the title. It's disgusting how Marquez and Golden Boy has done Katsidis, and I hope Marquez gets stripped immediately after he signs on to any other fight.
