I've never seen a fighter use the southpaw stance like Manny does. The way he uses it to set up his power shots, how he throws "crossover punches" as if he was playing basketball, and he has a great right hand now.

He's the most well-versed southpaw of all time.

Pernell would frustrate Pac and probably KO him in less than seven rounds. Pac barely outboxed Morales and would be humiliated by Whitaker. Marquez is the best that hes fought so far with skills but if he faced Pernell Prime for Prime he would be humiliated.
        GREAT POST....

Sad how some people that are so mis-informed about the sport claim to be boxing fans based on just one fighter...
learn the sport first before making these ridiculous statements.

prime for prime Pac couldnt carry Pea's jockstrap....

Whitaker lost to De La Hoya, who Pacquiao beat.......

Pernell KO's Pacquiao? LOL. The only way he would frustrate Pacquiao is that the man would run away from Pacquiao with his back turned.

But somehow, a lot of people who like this style of fighter say that doing that means you have "mental strength". Yeah, right.

Take it from a defensive fighter. That **** is easy. I hate when people compliment me on how easy I get away from punches. Slipping and moving, once learned, is MUCH EASIER than having to hit somebody and do the work yourself.

Why? Why does it matter if he beats Floyd Mayweather?

He's not even the best I've seen in the last 5yrs let alone of all time. Manny Pacquiao has just as much skills as Paul Williams. & I would consider the 2 Southpaws that gave Paul the most trouble in his Career (Quintana and Martinez) 2 be better SKILLED then Pacquiao. He def wasn't as skilled as Sweet Pea. That's a big NO, NO.

yup, Pacquiao is truly the best southpaw ever in the history of boxing and everybody else is a far second.

Good lord. He must be on PED's right, since he destroyed your vacant title champion? Manny Pacquiao is lightyears ahead of Williams in terms of skill.

You just can't see that because your so upset your champion got beat back all the way back to Caguas. Bernard Hopkins prob isn't skilled either, right? Especially after he threw your joke of a flag (we own your country).
