There is a reason why mayweather ducked him.
...and yea, yea, yeah Mayweather ducks everybody, he a coward...etc.

Something to think about here too...what kind of positive effect does cheating have on the psyche? More specifically, how does having a weapon in your glove affect your psyche. I'm sure you feel bigger, stronger, almost invincible.

Of course his Cotto win is great too. I think his wins over Frankie Randall, Antonio Diaz, David Kamau, Sebastian Lujan, undefeated Hercules Kyvelos aren't too shabby either.
Also, how you consider a seven year pro with over thirty fights at 27 years old 'green' is beyond me. Williams was, and still is, at his peak. He wasn't green at all.
Saying he (Willaims) has no skill when he is now a two division (some would call him a three division champ with the 'uncrowned' middleweight title) champion with names like Margrito, Martinez, Winky Wright, Phillips, Cintron, Mitchell, Quintana etc on his resume is a bit bizarre. Whatever floats your boat though. It was an interesting loss though. With one round started faster he would have won it. I'm not sure there is much to ***** about having lost a fight by one round to a guy who has just moved between 147 and 160 beating everyone.
Anyway, I'd say a champion that has a resume of wins like this is pretty good:
Miguel Cotto
Sergio Martinez
Frankie Randall
Joshua Clottey
Kermit Cintron x 2
Andrew 'Six Heads' Lewis
For a guy with no talent, no skill, and what you call a 'garbage fighter' he seems to have done pretty well for himself. I always thought that you'd need plenty of talent and skill to beat all those guys. I was sure of it in fact. Obviously you disagree though.Last edited by BennyST; 07-30-2010, 10:58 AM.

As are his knock out victories over Kermit Cintron and his decision over Joshua Clottey.
