Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao Will No Longer Be The Mega Event It Could Have Been

The fight was already built up the most it could be. Now all this teasing, all this drama, all this bull**** has pretty much deflated the anticipation and desire for this fight to happen. I definitely don't think it will break the DLH/Mayweather PPV record anymore. Casual fans are losing interest at this point. There is no more, "they're trying to build it up for next year". This **** already peaked.

Both Pac and May missed the boat on this one.

He's working on his boat investment. Understandable.

I think you have made a very real point and this could be true.

It wasn't doing 3 mil anyway! Besides we waited longer for Hearns Leonard and Leonard Hagler. The only reason this seems so bad is we are in the internet age and we get TOO much information. Its still going to outdo ODH Floyd because both fighters are so highly regarded.

**** is going to be the same when it goes down. After PAC beat the **** out of marg the demand is going to be even greater.

I doubt it. I see this fight doing 2 mill at most. And we need to stop comparing ages or periods in boxing to what we have now. Boxing was more of a mainstream sport up until the 2000's. Its slowly been losing the interest of the casual public.
