That's what's wrong with boxing, paying on "potential" instead of on actual deeds. It isn't right that someone who has cleaned out a division like Caballero should be fighting for chump change.

But Caba's promoter is willing to let Gamboa make more money....there shouldn't be any excuses now. Let's see if Bob "****tuck" Arum will make the fight.

It's not just potential bro'; It's called being a draw. This is a business after all and if you can't pull in the fans then you just have to settle with what you can get until you can. I mean, Caballero couldnt even fill the Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL and decided to take money from the govt. in Panama for the fight before his last. He might be getting more attention with his trash talking but he has to face reality. There is no effin way that he will get a 50/50 split with Gamboa much, much less Juanma. If he wants to make money he has to take whatever he can get (as long as its reasonable of course) and beat a top name and then start making demands.

If past history is any guide Caballero is just as likely to not accept what his promoter is offering than Arum is of "protecting' Gamboa. I hope this gets made, bad. But if he thinks he can just be petulant and get a fight with guys that are already making big money he is just being a fool.

Take less and beat Gamboa and then you can make demands with Juanma or whomever else.

Let's see what happens.

Weather he asked for 50/50 or didn't, the point is they gave more $$$$$$ to Rojas compared to what Caballero & DiBella proposed & then Scum Bag Arum claimed Caballero outpriced himself..¿How Scum Bag Arum is gonna say he outpriced himself then give another guy with way less credentials more money?? IT'S BULL****! THEY ARE JUST SCARED ****TLESS OF CABALLERO!!! & Many people here seem to know very well who Caballero is(including U) & especially the writers who have him in the POUND FOR POUND LISTINGS!!!

Lot's of people talk about Juanma ducking Caballero but this is exactly what happened when they approached the possiblity of making the fight between them. After all the talk from Caballero against Juanma, when negotiations came to play he was demanding 50/50 and there's no way that he was going to get that.

I guess Dibella learned his lesson but Caballero didn't.

I do remember him saying he wanted 50-50 for Lopez, which I'll admit that's a little out of reach considering the economic muscle Lopez brings. I wish Rafael Marquez would beat that diva ass punk in September and Cab beats Gamboa that way we get a Caballero-Marquez match up. But even then I doubt Rafa would fight him either, because he himself only wants big paydays probably at this stage of his career. But unlike Gamboa and Lopez, he has earned it.
