Not so much a scheme as it is separation of powers. This way Scaheffer and Ellerbee can take and pass a lie detecting test if given. Al never talks to the media and if so, can always invoke lawyer client privilege. Since Ellerbee and ODH are mouthpieces its best to keep them out the loop (like we all wish Manny/Bob would do with Koncz).

Again, given Margarito's statement it just feels like both sidess knew a long time ago this fight wasn't happening in Novemeber.

When Antonio Margarito says in Feb 2010 that Bob promised him a Nov 2010 fight with Pac, and Bob doesn't refute this claim, it seems they had a plan in place already. In May 2010 floyd said 0 day cutoff and we have a fight. As of now, no one from Manny's camp has acknowledged if in fact this was one of the "Manny agreed with floyd's terms" stipulations he has accepted. If manny did in fact accept 0 day cutoff and floyd didn't make deal you would be correct that floyd doesn't want fight. That isn't the case.

You are entitled to your opinion. But the facts don't support your conclusion.

what were the terms? if arum said that greenburg nor himself heard back from team mayweather, how did mayweather supposedly "agree?" who was greenburg talking to ifschaffer said he wasnt talking to them?

Greenburg in his statement (July 26, 2010) never mentioned the names of either party. Arum indicated it was him on Team Pacquiao side and Haymon on Team MW side. How did team floyd get played? While floyd was called out by mainstream media, this fight is getting killed everywhere. No entity, fans, experts, casual fans, mainstream media, want this fight. Manny better hope Bob and Marg's filth doesn't contaminate him.

Again, without knowing everything, this is why I'm glad floyd hasn't said a word. Winning the media battle doesn't matter at all. Getting the fight on his terms seems to matter the most to him. Doesn't look like he's fighting until that happens.

You are looking for a motive, and when you do not immediately see one you assume he is telling the truth. SOMEONE is lying and it could be Greenburg even though you cannot see a reason for it.

So what do you see "the reason" to be...? Why is Greenburg lying?
