It sure is, so is picking a weight class so I suppose all fighter are pickers and choosers. All fighters pick their opponents also doesnt mean its always a problem. The way I see it Margarito has been a top WW for years so its not like hes just a nobody. His main advantages in this fight are his size, strength and chin all of which should be better at 150 than they would be at 147 so his chances at winning are increased. Again, what is the problem?
"Jr middleweight is anywhere from 148-154lbs so its OK" the problem with that is...

LOL yeah a man who was a career featherweight/Junior Lightweight trying to make sure that at the very least he doesn't get out weighed by 20 pounds is such a travisty.
I mean guys who started out as flyweights always move up to the Welterweight division all the time. Yup happens everyday!
Are you kidding me in my balls?Comment

No they won't they will just announce him as an 8 division title holder before every fight if he wins. No one will question it except the obvious Floyd fan who's pathetic agenda is just to discredit everything Pac does. I said it once and I will say it again pac could win the HW title and you and every other Floyd fan would come up with some ridiculoys insegnificant talking point to discredit him. Its ***ing lame and it's not like all of you are advertising that Floyd held the same belt even if it was at the full 154 weight limit. It's still the same meaningless title regardless of a whole 4 pounds diffrence seriously it a whole 4 ***ing pounds!Comment

I'm calling it now. Pacquiao will challenge the Klitschkos for their belts, but at a catchweight of 175.Comment

If you can show me any boxing rule book where it says that championship bouts "have to" be contested at the full weight limit and not at a catch weight then you have an argument. Otherwise it's just another case of a bitter Floyd stan being all sour g****s over Mannys accomplishments and making up their own requirements and rules to how Championship title bouts should be conducted.
Seriously man thats exactly what you are doing. Just making up **** as you go.Comment

Answer me this...can Pac still make featherweight? Junior Lightweight? Lightweight? Your argument is completely irrelevant because the man is a full blown welterweight in his prime right now that says he never intends on fighting below welter ever again.Comment

Yeah I hope you see why your analogy is a complete and utter failure?Comment

If that is really ok as they say well there shouldnt b any weight restrictions in that case. Pac can come in at 150 and margo can come in at 154. Hate to say it but thats what floyd did and there wasnt any problems. Floyd 151- dlh 154. After all, super ww is from 148-154 after all
Pacquiao didn't let Cotto weigh in at the WW limit, Pacquiao doesn't want Margarito to come in at the JMW limit(4lbs under it to be exact).
That, my friend, is the difference. A pretty big difference at that.
So, that is not what Floyd did. By any means.Comment
