That if you weigh in at 151 in this case, you are over weight. You see what we are all saying here? So in a sense this fight involves diva attributes and divides a weight division and makes its own, 148-150. All of this while Arum and Pac cash in on history & the further growth of Pacquiao's image of having held titles in 8 divisions while doing the very same thing that all fight fans always talk **** on..."picking and choosing."

And no, Sugar Ray Leonard blowing up a bus full of children does not make it OK for any other boxer to do it as well.

The fight can still go on .........It's still within the division. There will probably penalty on their negotiation. But Pacquiao could not refuse to fight nonetheless.

It would still be over weight in this case, because like you said there are penalties just like there are penalties in any fight that you come in over weight. I really dont think Margarito would want to loose millions of dollars for coming in over weight.

I cant count how many times I heard people try to justify this catch weight by involving Sugar Ray Leonard's catch weight bouts.

The weight aint the main problem. The main problem is ****** WBC letting Pac and Margarito fight for the belt. They are not top guys at 154.

If that is really ok as they say well there shouldnt b any weight restrictions in that case. Pac can come in at 150 and margo can come in at 154. Hate to say it but thats what floyd did and there wasnt any problems. Floyd 151- dlh 154. After all, super ww is from 148-154 after all

If Pacquiao wins, the WBC will have to make up yet another belt: the Light Junior Middleweight Championship. He can hang that up next to his WBC Diamond Belt.

How much would you be willing to bet that Pacquiao vacates it if and when he wins? If he defended it versus legitimate competition without a catchweight then I would not grumble so much. As it stands, I don't think he's after anything but solidifying his legacy.

You answered your own question in the end.
The fight will go on either they under or over the weight.

BTW catchweight matches been around even before your parents were born.
