I'll believe it when I hear Plasterito's weight at the weigh in!
The only two ways it will happen is if Pac doesn't want to fight at a catch-weight (WILL NEVER HAPPEN) or the WBC doesn't sanction the fight because it isn't at the full jr. middleweight limit.
Are they all cheaters too? bigger guys usually win in a catchweight fight
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Pernell Whitaker (145 catch-weight for W.W title)
Jimmy McLarnin vs Pancho Villa (114 catchweight but McLarnin came in overweight at 122)
Joe Gans vs Joe Walcott (138 pound catchweight)
Henry Maske vs ****** Hill (190 catchweight)
Bernard Hopkins vs Oscar De La hoya (158 catchweight)
Jose Luis Castillo vs Diego Corrales (both fighters agreed to make 135 but no one can weigh more than 147 on fight night)
Fernando Vargas vs Ricardo Mayorga (162 catchweight)
Roy Jones Jr. vs Felix Trinidad (170 catchweight)
Miguel Cotto vs Manny Pacquiao (145 catchweight)
Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Juan Manuel Marquez (144 catchweight, Mayweather came in overwheight at 146) (This is a non title bout but I added it anyways because prior to retirement, Floyd was the lineal W.W champ)
Paulie Ayala vs Johnny Tapia (124 catchweight)
Terry Norris vs Meldrick Taylor (150 1/2 catchweight)
Henry Armstrong vs Law Jenkis (140 catchweight, for a Welterweight Bout! )
Emile Griffith vs Dave Charnley (148 catchweight)
Sugar Ray Leonard vs Donny Lalonde (168 catchweight)
All this doesn't mean **** because only TWO of all these fights were FOR A TITLE!!!!
I really could give less of a **** if it's a non title catch-weight, BUT FOR A ****EN TITLE, THAT IS B.S. AND NOT THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE, AT ALL.
IT MAKES GUYS LIKE PAC THAT MUCH LESS OF A CHAMPION, BECAUSE OF THE MANNER HE WILL WIN THE "TITLE".
There is a thing called weight classes guys. Just because an agreement is made for a fighter to fight at a lighter weight than the actual limit of the weightclass, doesnt mean it shouldnt be a title fight as long as both fighters are fighting within the weightclass bracket.
this is true, and if Manny wants to fight for a jr middleweight title he can weigh in anywhere between 147 and 154. BUT, by making the limit LESS than 154 is taking away from the rules of that particular weight class. sure, they may both weigh in at 150 which is in the limits of that weightclass, but by limiting how much a jr middleweight can weigh at weigh-in isn't right. I can care less about Margo and what he will agree to, because we all know he'll do whatever Arum wants to get the fight and the payday. He's not a titleholder @ 154, and neither Pac or Margo have beaten anyone to deserve a shot at a title (even a BS paper-title).
Berto is out there, Bradley (still a bit pre-mature @ 147) is out there, and the 140 pound division is stacked with talented fighters more deserving than Margo (who Mosley just destroyed). the pattern of Pac's career is leading to a very dull climax. Mayweather owns Arum at this point and since Arum will never give in to him Pac may have to find other alternatives to make the big fight happen.
What I find funny is that WE AREN'T SEEING AN ABUNDANCE OF *******s COMING TO BACK HIM UP AND DEFEND HIS ACTIONS.
KNOW WHY?
BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT THIS FIGHT IS BULL**** AND THE "TITLE" MANNY WILL WIN IS BULL****. THAT'S WHY WE HARDLY SEE, IF ANY, *******s ON THESE ARTICLES THAT CALL MANNY OUT ON HIS BULL**** AND CHEATING WAYS.
MOST *******S WILL JUST CONTINUE TO IGNORE IT. BUT IT'S A LONG WAY TILL NOVEMBER AND I'M GOING TO HAVE FUN THROWING THIS KIND OF **** IN THEIR FACES TILL FIGHT NIGHT, THEN I'LL DO THE SAME IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FIGHT.
I'VE ALREADY MY SHARE OF *******S IN THE SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME SINCE I JOINED BOXING SCENE AND I'LL CONTINUE TO DO SO BECAUSE CONTRARY TO WHAT SOME OF YOU MAY THINK............................................. ...........IT'S A LOT EASIER THAN IT LOOKS.
