No, the fault lies with Manny who agreed to fight Margarito. No one forced him to. He'll get paid regardless. He could have asked for Williams. For Bradley. For Martinez. Instead, he was willing to fight a cheater, even in Mexico. The fault lies with him.

Every offer is tailor made when you bargain from a seat of power. Martinez would agree to everything Pac wants. So would Williams and Bradley. NO EXCUSES.

According to Inquirer.net, the 31-year-old Pacquiao will be fighting Margarito at a “catch weight not exceeding 150 pounds.”
Well, let’s do the math. If the junior middleweight upper limit for the division is 154, then Pacquiao will be fighting at four pounds under the limit, and only three pounds above the 147 pound welterweight limit.
It's closer to a damn welterweight match then a light middleweight fight,
The vacant title should not be aloud put on the line!

How can Pacquiao feel good about not fighting at the full weight for the division? I don’t understand that at all. If he wins the fight, he doesn't deserve the title.
I can understand a catch weight if there’s a wide gulf between two fighters, but I don’t think a catch weight should ever involve a title.
It's wrong to have two fighters at a catchweight for a title.

Margarito hasn’t looked like the same fighter he used to be in his past two fights, and I don’t see how a catch weight is really even needed to beat him.
Why is Pacquaio be a god damn ***** looking for these damn catchweights?
He’s slow as molasses, doesn’t use his long reach, has no defense, comes straight at his opponents, and throws wide shots in close. Margarito is the perfect victim for Pacquiao. So why would a catch weight be needed when you got a fighter that is so tailor made for Pacquiao, and who appears to be fading fast in terms of his fighting ability.

An example of someone who have no concept of the subject.....
You can fight at any weight between 147+lbs and under 154 lbs.genius.and still be a jr. middleweight fight.

So? It was between Cotto and Marg because of what exactly? Let's think outside the box a bit.

If both fighters agree, the sanctioning bodies agree, and the promoters agree. Then piss off with the rest... THE WAY BOXING HAS BECOME!!!

Doesn't mean i like it, but there is technically nothing wrong with it...

                (morally yes, but technically no)

The whole Box is Arum himself, he only cares about money and himself... He doesn't give two ****s about Pacquiao... He will cash in as many chips as possible before he runs the risk of PAC losing all of his marketability "IF" he loses the PBF.

If you want me to come up with a reason outside of a box, then i would say that Martinez and Williams would be rediculously difficult for PAC to beat in addition to not being the greatest PPV numbers. Bradley is virtually unknown to the casual fan, and he still has some big fights left at 140... If Bradley beats Alexander, Khan, or even Maidana then i would love to see that happen..

Please enlighten me if the above statements are not palletable..

Clottey wasn't big numbers either but the fight was made. Bottom line, Pacquiao makes the decision, NOT Arum.
