I will bet everything, bradley over ortiz.

Ortiz can still compete with elites at 140. He needs to be more determined if he wants to win those fights.

alexander has the bad luck of being under king's promotional banner. no big american promoter wants any part of king and panda predicts alexander's career is gonna suffer for it. he got kotelnik by signing him

lol how many wins does this kid need to be back on top in some of u people's eyes. boxing fans are very unforgiving to ortiz even though he put maidana on his ass 3 times! at least maidana was legit, khan got KO'd in less than half a round to a guy nobody even knows and people are jumping on his bandwagon
        The problem with Ortiz is.....
        • he fought the wrong fight
        • he didnt adjust
        • he quit while ahead

And NONE of those questions have been asked, or answered, since that fight.

The real problem is that Maidana is actually quite limited, and Ortiz did not fight to this strengths or make the necessary adjustments, which is why he got in trouble.

It may take 3-4 fights against different styles/level of opposition, before Vic gets his mojo back in the eyes of most critics. And Bradley would drag him deep, you can be sure of that.

Boxing is a learning curve, the kid needs more time.

As long as Bradley avoids being hit with the uppercut he should be able to outwork and outland Alexander. Thats just my opinion and hopefully we will see this fight in jan
That is almost exactly how I see it.

Except I have no idea how Bradley will handle a slick southpaw.

I most likely got Bradley out-working Devon and winning by UD, as long as he doesn't get caught coming in.

His footwork, hand-speed, and ring intell. will give anyone at 140 problems. You guys don't agree??? I think so. I like KHAN, ALEXANDER, BRADLEY.......but, with OSCAR by his side, the fire has been reignited.
He has always had skills. Ortiz was a top prospect, and labeled by some as "the next De La hoya". He just has questions to answer before he can reasonably expect to have his name mentioned amongst the top guys at 140.

Similar to Khan imo, where we need to see the chin-check results before we can tell if he belongs with the top guys at 140.

Ortiz has a chance against all the top junior welters. These guys just need to start fighting each other though.

Bradley, Alexander, Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, and Zab Judah.....that's a Super Six right there. HBO should really get it's head out of it's ass and make a tournament at 140.

you're born with heart or you aren't. ortiz is just there to box and get paid - no ambition for legacy.

Exactly. The more experience Ortiz gets the better off he'll be. The fact he took a ridiculous beating from Maidana when he didn't have to and was already ahead on the score cards just shows his lack of experience in the ring. Yeah he did quit...but only after getting bombed on like a ****ing middle eastern country. He obviously had no clue how to adjust so if he would have elected to take more punishment he'd be done for real.

Once he gets his boxing IQ up to par he'll be able to go about things in the ring in a more effective manner. All that will come with more experience.

Just imagine it. To me that would be better than the super-6 at smw.

You would chew your fingers off waiting for those fights to roll around
