          I agree with you.....

These so called fans are under-estimating who ORTIz really is. He looked really good against CAMBELL regardless of his age. OSCAR has been in the gym with him and you can tell. He fights similar to him. LoL. Even bounced like him to. And on top of all of this, he is a big Jr. welterweight. You agree? I mean, he can beat anyone at 140 including BRADLEY. I think KHAN/ORTIZ is the sleeper fight that would be a great one! ALEXANDER/BRADLEY will be good but BRADLEY will beat ALEXANDER. I don't know who he thinks he is after one BIG win. KHAN and ORTIZ are the biggest in that division and all they needed was a little seasoning. They got it and are ready to fight the best. Whoever beats either one of them, won't have an easy fight.

This should be a lesson to the next so-called blue chip prospects on the way up...whether Ortiz still deserves the moniker of "quitter" or not, it's a long way back to legitimacy after what he did in the Maidana fight. Personally, I think he needs to stay away from prime pressure guys like Chino for awhile. He has a resilience problem, and would be better served getting matched against "boxers", not "sluggers" at this stage of the game.

Did any of yall watch the Maidana-Ortiz fight? He lost because he chose to brawl instead of box and he put some serious hands on Maidana in that fight. Maidana wants no part of a rematch Ortiz easily UDs him. People also actin like he quit at the first sign of resistance it was back and forth war and Ortiz had the wrong gameplan and paid for it. Hes a tough fight for anyone at 140 and has a chance to beat them all. Maidana would be the easiest fight for him followed by Bradley who I think he can beat.

Ortiz is the dark horse in the 140 div. If he fights smart and uses his talent he can beat any of the top 140 pounders.

If Vic tried to minimize the moments where he's punching with his chin sticking straight out while it's completely unguarded and actually went to the body as much as he goes to the head, that would be an improvement in itself.

Did anyone hear Maidana choking for little gasps of air during his interview with Max after the Ortiz fight? Ortiz threw some hellacious body shots early on in that fight.

Vics body punching is ridiculously under used on his part. I think that's because he doesn't have a legitimate killer instinct. Most elite fighters with that kind of power have an uncanny sense and smell for blood. They know exactly how to break a guy down from head to toe until he folds. I think you gotta be a student of the sport full time/have the experience to develop that kind of dynamic vision though. If he had that vision he wouldn't have fought Nate Campbell the way he SHOULD have fought Maidana. And Vice Versa. If he would have fought Campbell the way he fought Maidana, leaning into more power shots, attempting to break him down with intelligence(I wouldn't say he did this against Marcos), he would have stopped Campbell immediately. I like Nate but all he needed was a reason, just one reason to not stay in that fight and Ortiz had the power to give him that reason. With Marco's he should have approached him the same way he approached Nate.

As long as Vic stays learning he'll figure it out. Toney and Hopkins both loss to Jones but longed for a rematch cause they learned from experience. Oscar was a left hook happy maniac early on with little to no defense, than with experience he got slightly more defense savvy along with developing a right hand. It all comes with experience. If Ortiz is smart he'll figure it out.

Ortiz has the capacity to defeat all the fighters he mentioned. Just as they have the capacity to beat him as well. It's funny, he didn't mention Devon.

what about Ortiz vs Super Zab Judah = who wins
