Comments Thread For: Victor Ortiz: Amir Khan, Bradley, Maidana "I'm Waiting!"

Junior welterweight contender Victor Ortiz is wondering why none of the big names at 140-pounds are mentioning his name. Ortiz tells AOL's Fanhouse that he's ready for all comers at junior welterweight, including WBA champion Amir Khan, Marcos Maidana and WBO champion Timothy Bradley.

    Oh Sh**. It's on.

Ortiz can beat all 3, but maidana is still too powerful. Won't take but a few hard shots before it gives him flashbacks.
Khan and Bradley, hell yeah. Maidana, not so soon. Wait a couple more fights.

I would like for ortiz to beat khan because he's nice and humble guy who respects anyone. The question is would he cope with the crazy handspeed I don't thinks though if course I mayb wrong power hurts speed kills

        Nobody ever mentions Devon.

Again the name Devon Alexander is con****uously absent during a conversation about a potential matchup at 140

OK Bradley acknowledged him recently a couple of times, obviously that fight is in the pipeline..... but nobody is itchin ta have a crack at Devon.

I wouldn't have thought that Ortiz looked ready to jump back into a Maidana fight yet, or to go calling for Bradley for that matter..... but if he wants it, then fair game to him I say.

I think they all beat Ortiz tbh.

All my boxing sources in Cali had been talking about his chin since before Maidana.

He's not good enough to outbox any of these guys either.

Was just thinking the same exact thing. Funny how all these guys like Ortiz and Khan say they will take on anyone but when names start being said they forget Alexander. Weird, lol.

They're not mentioning your name, Victor Ortiz, because Maidana already made you bow down and say enough is enough. Beating Nate Campbell doesn't change that, Ortiz has a ways to go before he belongs in the conversation with the top 140 pounders.
