That would require Margarito to have enough time to throw back. As we saw vs. Mosley, it doesn't matter how great your chin is, if you can't land on your opponent, you have no chance as a pressure fighter. Mosley stood in front of Margarito all day and beat him like a dog. Is Pac as physically imposing? No. But he'll make up every bit for it with his speed.

You can say Mosley stood in front of Marg all day. But, in reality Mosley clinched Marg a lot in that fight. He would land a punch and clinch, over and over again. Pac doesn't clinch.

So should it happen? Hell no. Will it be entertaining FOTY potential? Yes

Pac haters, it doesn't matter who Pac-Man fights! This fight has more creditbility than Mayweather fighting Marquez who only fought above 130 once. Here's the difference Mayweather was taller, had the longer reach and was the naturally bigger man. In this fight Margarito is much taller, with a much bigger reach advantage, and naturally the bigger man. Manny is not looking for a lightweight to fight!!! Plus, altough I appreciate the sweet science but, when I'm paying $60 for a PPV I want to see a KO!!! Show the defensive specialist on regular HBO! I'll pay to see Manny fight Donald Duck because I know that Manny will go for the KO and give me my money's worth and so will Margarito! Can you say the same for Floyd??????? This fight will have more action in 3 rounds than Floyd has given his fans in the past 3 years. I feel asleep on Mayweather vs. Baldomir and Mayweather vs. Marquez.

Regardless of anyone's feelings for Floyd, wake up people! Top Rank is putting on a disgrace cause Arum is a greedy bastard and wants to keep everything in house.

I don't even know how Margarito is fighting for a title at 154 after being suspended for a year and having fought one fight I believe, at 154. The guy deserves nothing.

I would rather see Pacquiao fight Berto or any of the top guys at 140 but they aren't getting a chance cause they aren't Top Rank.
