Top Rank CEO Bob Arum has informed Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports that WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao will move up to the junior middleweight division to challenge Antonio Margarito for the vacant WBC title on November 13. Margarito's team will once again attempt to get him a license in Las Vegas. If that moves fails, the fight will take place in Monterrey, Mexico.

im gonna watch regardless cuz its gonna be history winning a 8th world title in 8 different weight classes but there were other better (imo) fights out there (cotto, williams, martinez)

if pac would've beat williams or martinez all the pac haters would have to eat their words forever PERIOD

I haven't read any of the posts, there are too many, and if no one has mentioned this then everyone must be blind. Arum is keeping it in house, with all these questions surrounding all of pac's recent fights... weight restrictions to name a big one, but how can you look at this fight and not see the possibility of a fix? Pacman is a cash cow, why not keep it going until he eventually fights a real fight, and that would be with mayweather.

Pac haters, it doesn't matter who Pac-Man fights! This fight has more creditbility than Mayweather fighting Marquez who only fought above 130 once. Here's the difference Mayweather was taller, had the longer reach and was the naturally bigger man. In this fight Margarito is much taller, with a much bigger reach advantage, and naturally the bigger man. Manny is not looking for a lightweight to fight!!! Plus, altough I appreciate the sweet science but, when I'm paying $60 for a PPV I want to see a KO!!! Show the defensive specialist on regular HBO! I'll pay to see Manny fight Donald Duck because I know that Manny will go for the KO and give me my money's worth and so will Margarito! Can you say the same for Floyd??????? This fight will have more action in 3 rounds than Floyd has given his fans in the past 3 years. I feel asleep on Mayweather vs. Baldomir and Mayweather vs. Marquez.

On the Pac fight at least he fought to the end & didnt ***** out like Clottey, who didnt throw anything all night, afraid of Pacs power. Now Cotto is the WBO Super Welterweight champ, seems to me he has alot more gas in the tank.
