I read the contract and other than the line that said, "Povetkin will have to work for Wlad for free for the rest of his life", it looked pretty legit to me.
People on here are ridiculous, the details and payments have already been announced. Povetkin gets 25% of the purse bid...which was over 8 million. He'd be lucky to get 1/4th that against anyone else.

otherwise guys like, you know, Bowe for example, wouldnt throw belts in the trash theyd offer guys like Lewis "Slave contracts."
Povetkin won the right to face wlad 2.5 years ago. Since then he has had a myriad of excuses, like Haye at first it was injuries and now its slavery.
Its a joke. No one wants to fight the Klitschko's
And why should they give up money to reward cowardice? You do realize they arent the only people with stakes in their company correct? They actually have a fiduciary duty NOT to give up money to reward bitches.Comment

Saureland is clearly lying, here are the facts:
Povetkin has been a mandatory for 2 years and has repeatedly refused to enforce that status, first time because of a supposed tree root injury and then because he voluntarily stepped aside and let Chambers step-in to fight Wlad.
Teddy Atlas, Povetkin's trainer, has repeatedly come out with saying that Povetkin is not ready for Wlad. He just came out and said so to Dan Rafael, his explicitly stated that he does not want his fighter to face Wlad right now.
Povetkin, despite being sent a statndard IBF challenger contract entitling him to 25% of the purse bid of at least 2 million dollars of an 8 million dollars purse, which is incidentally his biggest payday EVER (at least 4 times bigger), never signed the contract despiote constant prodding by Wlad fro the last two weeks.
Povetkin was supposed to show up to the conference and he was ****ing around with Wlad for two weeks, Wlad went to the IBF and said, hey this guy is not going to show and has not signed yet, I can't waste any more time. IBF agreed and moved Peter up in the rankings.
Povetkin comes out with a doctor's note about a sinus infection the day AFTER the presser even though he was at FNF that night and seemed very healthy.
Seems to me just like another duck by another ***** scared of Wlad like King ***** Diva Gaye.Comment

Exactly, these fools are just Klitschko haters or Haye's Gayes. They don't want to look at the facts, they just want to believe so anything Booth, Gaye, or Saureland say, they will believe. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Saureland is trying to save face for their fighter and is also mad at Povetkin and Atlas for cutting them out of a big payday, so they are trying to make it out to seem like it was Wlad's fault.Comment

Povetkin is a pu$$y who didn't want the fight in the first place. He was hoping some way that he could force Wlad to get stripped, and when that didn't happen, Povetkin was exposed as the coward he truly is. I been saying that all that posturing that Atlas and Povetkin's team were doing were nothing but smoke screens. I'm glad the IBF has taken his mandatory status away so this can be last we here of this guy acting like he wants a piece of Wlad.Comment

First Baby Sasha had a boo-boo on his foot.
Then, his daddy wanted Sasha to play with other boys before he plays with Wlad.
Then, little Sasha wanted to go pee-pee; but, only if Wlad goes to the bathroom with him.
