Why is it that we now have 3 WELL KNOWN FIGHTERS saying that the contracts which the Klitschkos offered them were SLAVE CONTRACTS and them figters are no less than DAVID HAYE ,NIKOLAI VALUEV AND NOW POVETKIN - povetkins promoter said it was the worst terms he had seem offered in 35 years off business

Could Mr. Sauerland please specify in what ways this was a "slave contract".

The fight was won in a purse bid, Klitschkos offer being double of that of Mr. Sauerland. So Povetkin now loses a purse of 2 million dollars.

Did they include demands for options in the contract? That would be rather unconventional in a contract seemingly made by IBF purse bids rules, wouldn't it? If there were demands for options, please specify and document, Mr. Sauerland.

As to Haye's "slave contract" with the Klitschkos, it contained less options (two) than what he actually signed to fight Valuev (three with Mr. Sauerland).

Sauerland is just talking out of his ass. Povetkin was the mandatory and the contract had to be in accordance to the IBF rules, so GTFO with the "slave contract" BS. Haye's manager also admitted that they were offered 50/50 and still rejected it, which proves they're the ones full of ****.

The difference is Valuev, Haye and Povetkin are much more known than Chambers, Thompson and Brock. You can't put Arreola in that category of not complaining since he had done nothing to earn his shot, so although he tried to win, he was just happy to be there and get one big payday before he started losing. The only other fighter you mentioned, Sam Peter, probably got paid well since he beat James Toney twice (well, in my mind, he was 1 win and 1 loss with Toney but the judges thought otherwise) and was becoming a name at that time...

Wonder if Atlas had any input? i dont think he thinks Povetkin is ready just yet, and that he might want more time to work with him before letting him fight Wlad, maybe he had a word in Povetkin's ear ?

Why are the Klitschko's so money hungry? They have loads of money and don't need anymore, they have faced many average fighters and made a lot of money from them but now is the time to prove their worth in the ring against the best contenders now to solidify their claims for being great heavyweights.

Haye, Valuev and Povetkin all have said they are offering **** contracts so they need to sort it out and make the fights happen even if it means getting less money.

This is ridiculous. The heavyweight-division is at an alltime low and now we don't even see the best possible fights of an already weak division.
First Haye, now Povetkin, the only fighters remotely interesting to watch against the Klitschkos after Chagaev got dismantled easily as well.
Who cares about seeing either one of them against Samuel Peter again? Jeez...
