I would think that $250,000 wouldn't mean all that much to Teddy. We're inclined to overlook the real fact that these trainers, although they look as if they haven't a cent, earn very good money, and in Teddy's case, he's had lucrative job as a commentator for many years, as well as frequent guest and expert appearances on TV.

Look at the Roach for example. Did anyone ever see a more indifent looking creature. Yet, he managed to get a 10% paycheck from every Manny P. fight. He must be worth multi-millions. And he cartainly doestn't, by his appaearnce, spend much of it.
I meant, of course "indigent" not "indifent" which I don't believe is even a word with any meaning.

in my 21 years of watching heavyweight boxing,i got know troubles with atlas as a trainer.hes pretty funny with his tough love....classic inbetween round pep talks...he reminds me of hall of famer hockey coach mike keenan...he had 2 sutter brothers in the 80's...i recall the more talented player brent sutter was in a bad slump & keenan threatened to trade his brother if he didnt start scoring...brent popped a hat trick the next game...classic much like teddy.

Wlad could have requested an optional defense against a top-ten guy just as easily as he requested to fight Peter.

Povetkin has been the #1 for over two years now. At this stage another six months or a year isnt going to change the outcome of the fight. He should quit being a coward and sign the damn fight.

          This is such a joke.
POVETKINS PROMOTER CAME FORWARD TO SAY THAT THE CONTRACT WHICH THE KLITSCHKOS OFFERED TO HIM WAS THE WORST HE HAD SEEN IN 35 YEARS OF BUSINESS = A SLAVE CONTRACT now you have many boxers saying the klitschkos are very tight fisted with money !!!
