GBP is not as bad as Toprank when it comes to keeping their fights in house but they have become just as sleezy and manipulative as Toprank. They are up to the same old tricks of the sleezy Don King type promoters and they are hurting the sport.

GBP is nowhere near as bad as Top Rank. But Marquez vs. Khan would be an example of an in-house fight from Golden Boy that most fans are against.

GBP won't put their boxers in against dangerous opponents from other stables.

examples:

- mosley will never fight pwill.
- khan will not fight bradley or alexander
- jmm will not fight bradley or alexander

all of schaefer's examples are of GBP fighting boxers that they are supposed to beat.

they would do exactly what top rank does if they could and when they can they do. sometimes arum can really piss me off, anyone with that amount of power in a sport is gonna make calls that the fans hate but why would you not try to make superfights between two of your fighters. negotiating with another ego maniac, and his fighter, is a lot more difficult than just dealing with your 2 fighters and you make a lot more money. anyways, 99% of promoters are money grubbing douche bags, and arum/shaeffer are no exception.

GBP would do the exact same thing, except they rarely have 2 ranked boxers in the same division so their boxers have to fight someone else.

There's nothing wrong with keeping the fights in-house as long as the best option is "in-house." Right now Margarito nor Cotto is the best option for Pac. Berto and Williams are the best options. Arum is full of **** for what he's doing!

GBP is far less superior than Top Rank. GBP total earnings is not even half that of Top Rank. GBP promotes gays and cowards.
