Juan Diaz is nowhere near PPV worthy.

I'd have no problem with the match up if it was free HBO.

It deserves to be that much at least.

Also, Khan and Ortiz are both being sheltered in ODLH's dirty armpit right now.
Maybe because they had one of the best fights in 2009?

GBP is far more honorable than top rank. Arum is crazy slimey even for a promoter.

GBP doesn't do that like Top Rank. That said, Top Rank does a much better job putting on competitive bouts. Mosley-Mora? Schafer should just be quiet.

Top Rank has developed recently the far better fights and stars. Golden Boy is just a name promoter who uses money to its advantage getting TV dates. There bouts are usually uncompetitive. But with that being said - what arum is doing keep it in-house is really bull****..

schaefer is right, GB does put their fighters in more dangerous fights. Remember when they put Ortiz in with Maidana? Top Rank wasn't even willing to do Gamboa vs Caballero. Thats pathetic

JMM/DIAZ is one the best ppv's! Look at the undercard, every fight is going to be worth watching unlike TR ppv's. Jacobs vs Pirog, Guerrero vs Cassamayor, Linares vs Jaurez. A quality night of boxing if you ask me

Hello, Since you are a likely admirer of Emanuel Augustus, perhaps you can have an answer for me. Some years ago, in Emanuel's Herman Ngoudjo, it looked as if he'd KO'd Herman in the last rd. Looking at the Youtube video, anyway.

Was he KO'd or was Herman the winner on points, as Boxrec has it. It cerrainly looked to me as if Herman was finished, reeling on his feet, out to the world, ready to go down again, with the ref stopping the fight.

Top[ rank is better at building fighters because they are great matchmakers. GBP is better at managing super stars. Problem is after ODH, floyd and Manny there really are none right now.

There will always be a star that emerges. Don't forget that Manny didn't emerge until Floyd retired. That said, while TR does an excellent job building fighters, Arum ****s them. Which is why guys like Oscar and Floyd ran as soon as they could. Cotto and Pac would've been wise to do the same but eh.

GBP is not remotely close to doing what Arum does with his Top Rank Round Robin Tournament fight after fight. Need further proof, look at what he's doing with Pac right now. Its sad because Pac will fight anyone however the disgrace that is Arum is setting up in house fights with a guy in Cotto who is done and Pac destroyed two fights ago and a known cheater who cannot get licensed in the U.S in Margorito who also got destroyed two fights ago. Lets be serious here. Is floyd the only out house fight that would be better than Cotto and Margorito? Certainly not. How about Paul Williams a man who beat Margorito, an undefeated young champ in Andre Berto and the marvellous Sergio Martinez anyone? Heck i would even take a Shane Mosley fight in November over a cotto rematch or Margorito fight.

All these promoters have self interests not just Arum, but Arum is selfishly and knowingly ruining the sport of boxing and with his in house Round Robin Tournaments.
