Ricky knew it was a suicide mission - look at his face as he started his ring walk. He wasn't interested in going 10 rounds, taking a beating and getting KOed again. He went in looking to make sure the fight ended quickly, whether he won or not. Pacquiao was all wrong for Hatton.

Hatton who uses his head for defence against a fast Pacquaio who throws power shots in abundance at a very fast speed against a stationary target = 2 round KO.

Styles and ability were Hatton's downfall. He was never going to be able to walk through Pacquiao's shots with the speed he throws them at. The reason Hatton lasted 10 rounds with Floyd is 'cause Floyd fights defensive nd wasn't firing at Hatton from the off. Pacquaio went in there to knock Hatton out and Hatton like Hatton does stood there trudging towards Pacquiao making it easy work for Pacman.

Most of you act like ballooning over 200+ pounds and then dropping that weight was a good thing, especially for the type of fighter Hatton was. You guys need to think outside of the box. He got dropped like a fly with one punch, he's never been out cold like that before.

Yeah, he thought he could get by still drinking beers and chowing down on everything after a fight.

But dropping around 40 pounds months before a fight will catch up with you. You can't expect your body to just respond like nothing is wrong when cutting that much weight in a short amount of time isn't natural . It wasn't the first time either because Ricky has been known to indulge himself in a lot of unhealthy habits that makes him look like a whole different person in previous fights.

That's where the name Ricky Fatton kicks in.

Especially, the amount of wars Ricky was in before and getting physically/mentally broke down by Mayweather.
