That's funny. First name that came to mind for me was Bush, followed soon thereafter by margachito.

      I don't know if you're actually new here..or an alt..but I'll explain anyways..

around these parts..people seem to think that because Maidana worked mini-Vargas over..and made him Quit...that he's the new killer at 140..like he's got Tyson Power with Sweet Pea's elusiveness..he's not killing ****..he got outboxed by Kotelnik dammit!!

This is a Mosley/Floyd type of fight
Forgive me if I laughed a bit.

What in the world makes you even mention Floyd/Mosley?

Bradley has nowhere near Floyds chin, counter, defense, accuracy, or timing.
Chino is a PRESSURE fighter, reminiscent of Margo, not Mosley (a puncher/boxer).

If anything, a Bradley/Maidana fight would be similar to the Ortiz fight, where Maidana walks through Bradley's pity pats, and steals rounds by impressing the judges with hard shots.
(Ortiz hit Maidana with his BEST power punches, FLUSH, and scored knockdowns. Let's get real, Bradley ain't knocking nobody down).

Yea hes just looking for a lucky shot everytime he fights and if he doesnt get it he will lose. And i HIGHLY doubt he will get that against a top fighter

My post count isn't a reflection of my boxing knowledge.

The fight against Kotelnik was close - they fought in Germany of all places.

No one hyping Maidana's skills - he is a one dimensional brawler with crazy power.

What he lacks in boxing skills he makes up with heart, chin and power.

Maidana gives anyone at 140 a run for their money.

When Bradley called out Maidana in the post fight interview it sounded like he was saying "Madonna" lol.

I was just trying to say that unless he lands a lucky punch, he wont win. And for me it wont be a an ortiz type of fight because Ortiz lost focus and started trying to go punch for punch with Maidana. Ortiz could have easliy outboxed him if he tried. Just look at the Kotelnik fight

WTF?..Bro stand back and stop getting feminine here..I never questioned your boxing knowledge..I was referring to the insight I've seen here on Boxingscene ever since he beat Ortiz..So if you've only been here since July 2010..and that fight happened like a year ago you wouldn't know the reaction of other posters around here..that's all I'm saying..

Maidana is a hype job..there's no way around it..you can't replace skill with heart..it won't get you very far..chin?..he's been nailed and dropped how many times now?..his power is what has saved him..

You don't think people know Maidana is a limited brawler?? What's there to hype then.. no one is calling him the next SRR.

You just call him a hype job because people like him LOL.
