According to your guidelines, I guess I'm an expert. But I don't consider myself to be an expert in the sense most people would use it. Larry Merchant is considered a boxing expert, not me.

i spend most of my time reading and watching current, future, and past boxing. soaking it all up. boxing is great, almost like cooking, you can know a hell of a lot, but it is impossible to know everything, with learning something new and old everyday! the sport deserves more respect from the public, it's sad that it is filled with inconsistencies and corruption, both that which keep the sport from being accepted by mainstream media.

how many times have you looked to your local sports news on tv and they didn't even have the results of a title fight that you wanted to know about, when you didn't have access to your computer. but they'll tell you about some jerk off who just won a bass tournament!!! i don't get it! title fight or catching a 3lb fish?? or something as lame as that!!!????

I record every boxing fight i see. ESPN, HBO, HBOL, SHOWTIME, FSN, it doesn't matter. I have 6 boxing tapes that i can watch all day without falling asleep. I LOVE BOXING!!!!

I didn't see Masochist on there. You know, when there's a fight on and you get so pumped up that you want to start fighting and feel some pain.

But Yeah GW, that is fishy. I think most here belong in the "Closet **** Fan" category, but sadly, they forgot to insert that one in.
