Mostly....I really love to talk about the sport from when I first got into it - the 80's.
I don't know if those fighters were necessarily better than those of today & before then
....but those guys were magic to me. I'm sure my age played a big part in it.

I've been to a great deal of fights. From cheapo amateur cards, to seeing Tito at the Garden.
I'm in my 20'S and I grew up watching the Holyfield's, Tyson's, Chavez's, having their run in the 90's... And I must say the 80's makes a pretty strong case for being the best decade for boxing. I also could careless about the Arum, Kings, and HBO's order taker in GBP. I'm not much of a boxing history buff, but I love the sweet science. I love talking about the sport, but didn't stick around the amateurs long enough to really have that insight that very few have on this site or any site.
