BTW if pirog wins (which i dont think he will) macklin probaly wont get a title shot against pirog. Macklin said if Jacobs he is would get a title shot against jacobs

With home advantage, Jacobs definitely has a chance.

But I think Macklin's chances of a title shot are much better if Pirog wins. HBO will have a big say in picking Jacobs' future opponents if he wins, and Ross Greenburg doesn't seem to like white European boxers.

Pirog is one of the most awkward styles anyone would want to deal with. If the fight ends early, I predict it means Jacobs power got through. He is the hardest hitter Pirog has ever faced and Jacobs has real middleweight power. If it goes the distance, I personally cannot see Pirog losing because the longer the fight goes, the more frustrated Jacobs will get and he will unravel.

Jacobs is pretty sweet, got to check up on Pirog some first......just saw a few vids on youtube. I don't know, this fight is gonna be a great, great fight.....too close to call for me. Based on their oponents, it seems that Pirog has faced the tougher competition...I think Pirog can edge out a decision.

Perhaps, but will he receive fair scoring from the judges on a Golden Boy Promotions event?

If it were in Russia or a neutral location I'd bet on Pirog, but in Las Vegas on a Golden Boy card I'm not so confident.

That is a big, big ,factor and I wish it was a non-issue but these judges are a joke. Especially when a GBP fighter is involved or simply a hometown boxer against a foreign fighter, the judging seems to be fixed. There is no way that one judge has a score so different and skewed in the opposite direction that it appears as though he/she was watching a different fight altogether.

I hope the judging is fair though, we can only hope

Id say pirog and his team know what they will have to do to get win in the usa and thats a ko/tko win.
I expect massive pressure from pirog straight off the bat after the feeling out 1st round and as soon a pirog finds his range he will push jacobs back to the ropes just like ishe smith did and go to work.
You have to remember pirog will be the 1st real middle weight danny has faced and you better believe he punches harder than ishe smith.
Another thing to factor in is pirog has gone 12 with ease and at a crazy pace too. While jacobs has not and likes to take breaks in rounds.
Pirog will pressure him and hurt late . tko win for pirog the ref saves jacobs.

I think this guy breaks the fight down very well.

Pirog is the real deal, been following this guy for a minute. Pirog wins, could be ko or decision though. Jacobs aint no bum, this is a potentially great fight technically.

Well if Pirog wins but gets gets robbed on the cards, he'll still gain some recognition I reckon.
