I don't know enough about Pirog, I have followed Jacobs though and have always liked his style and skills. If Pirog is what he is billed as then this should be a great matchup of undefeated young contenders, and I will be watching it, but I can't vote.

In fact, let me check for Pirog videos. I'll get back to this poll.

This is for the vacant WBO middleweight title.

The winner of Macklin-Barker will likely receive a title shot.

Jacobs is the home fighter, hopefully Pirog dosen't get robbed.

Pirog has a very unusual style, a Mayweatheresque defense, and constantly switching between orthodox and southpaw. He seems to have a very good understanding of angles and good accuracy, but appears to lack speed of hand and foot and does not appear to have one shot or even very much cumulative power.

              Good stuff.

Macklin - Pirog would be a great fight even though i want Barker to win.

The middleweight division will be dominated by Europeans pretty soon. All the best prospects/contenders are over here.

Good summary. Did you watch the Jantuah fight?

Sometimes he's effective with accurate body punches, hence his good KO ratio. He has an excellent workrate.

But, you're right, he didn't seem to have much power in the Jantuah fight, since he repeatedly caught Kofi flush yet didn't put him down.
