I think he complains about Pacquiao more because he feels he really won those fights. With Floyd, He lost so badly that he wants to make excuses. But with Pacquiao he feels he won so he likes talking about it, Marquez is still saying his goal is to get a 3rd fight with Pacquiao. But I don't think it will happen.

Marquez is a natural Lightweight but in THAT FIGHT he weighed 142, Making him a welterweight. Saying Floyd was much bigger is just an excuse, Floyd didnt complain when he was outweighed by Baldomir and De La Hoya. This was because he won the fight, Marquez lost all 12 rounds which is way he made excuses. Mayweather weighed 150 compared to 154 when he fought Oscar, But nobody talks about that. They only talk about weight to make an excuse, But when you always win fights (Like Mayweather) there is never any need to make excuses.

So since you are claiming Marquez is a natural Super Feathweight (A weight class he hasnt fought at in about 5 years) then I guess you will say the same thing if and when Mayweather beats Pacquiao as Manny also spent much of his career at the low weight classes. It doesnt matter that Marquez started off a lighter weight class, Floyd had most of his fights at 130. He's naturally smaller than almost all of his opponents, but nobody ever makes excuses for Floyd, because he keeps winning.

Great win for Floyd against Oscar, piss poor meaningless win against JMM who is still a small LW today that could probably make 130 if he wanted to.

Manny and Floyd are never fighting so its a mute point, but the difference is Manny moving up the scales starching guys bigger than him even if he is a natural LW, thus proving himself legit comp at WW.

The Diaz fight will be a good indication of what Marquez has left, But if he loses and I think he may well lose then maybe he should retire. Pacquiao wont give him another shot, It's only guys like Katsidis and Casamayor that really want to fight him.
